You will have significant experiences.
I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of
them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh
your memory of these meaningful and significant things.
Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you.
Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some
may build upon another until they represent a lifetime of
special experiences.

Everett At Home...

Thursday, April 1, 2010

Dear Friends and Family,

The rest of the pictures from Everett's Big Day are in!  As Zac and I were looking at them tonight, with Everett sitting between us, Zac looked at Everett with a tear in his eye and said, "It has been a long, hard battle, but we got you home."  No truer words were ever said.  We got him home.  It already feels like a different lifetime.  How quickly the mind heals wounds...

Everett now weighs 6lb 14oz and is 20 inches long.  He is smiling and cooing and so alert.  He has rolled over a few times and even giggled a few days ago.  Each milestone is so precious, just like our little man.  We are so blessed and thankful to get to enjoy each moment with him.  God is good.

Thank you for sharing in this journey with us.  You are never far from our thoughts.  Everett would not be home, giving us the gift of toothless grins, without your prayers and good thoughts.

I plan to continue to email updates about Everett from time to time...I'm sure many of you will want to know how he's growing up.  And since you're family now, please feel free to still email, call, or text.  We always love hearing from you!
