You will have significant experiences.
I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of
them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh
your memory of these meaningful and significant things.
Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you.
Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some
may build upon another until they represent a lifetime of
special experiences.

Update...

Thursday, December 10, 2009

Dear Family and Friends,

Let me start by saying that we appreciate everyone texting, calling, Facebooking, and emailing.  You have kept us distracted during a very, very dark time.  Your words have helped us to be ever more hopeful for good news.  And no matter the results, we know that we are loved and supported.

The road ahead is going to be rough.  Everett will be at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles for at least three weeks, but the reality is more like a month or more, then he will transfer back to SV while he heals the rest of the way.  He is stable.  But the goal of him coming home by his original due date is now a bit more out of reach.

At the moment, we are heartbroken.  The details of his surgery will have to wait until we have the strength to discuss them.  We thank you, as always, for your love, support and prayers.  If you want specific things to pray for, please ask for Everett to have strength, healing, strong immunity, a healthy body, and a sharp mind.  We love you all and miss you from here in LA.  But we know that you are all with us every step of the way.

With love and gratitude,

The Bollinger Family
